Symmetricom’s GoWide™ Circuit Emulation Network Termination Units (CeNTU) enable carriers to use SHDSL to provide traditional Nx64K V.35, V.36, RS449, X.21 or G.703 and G.704 E1 termination. GoWide offers a cost effective way to transmit voice or data traffic from a data router, PABX, TDM Multiplexer, Nx64 leased line or GSM base station across the ATM backbone.
Based on the worldwide G.shdsl (ITU-T G.991.2) standard, GoWide provides advantages such as unrivaled reach (over 4.5 km), excellent tolerance to noise and efficient spectrum management.
